In Giant Rombalds Footsteps

Sunday 20th March Walk starts at 12 noon: 4 miles

Try out Geocaching - a high tech treasure hunt for all the family and find out about Giant Rombald and the hermit of Rombalds Moor, whilst enjoying spectacular views over the Wharfe Valley.

Meet your guide in the car park of Burley in Wharfedale Train Station. Park in the station car park. Bus numbers 652, 781, 962, 963.

Please note:

  • A packed lunch is required for this walk.
  • The walks are not suitable for the less able, wheelchair users and pushchairs.
  • By their very nature Watershed Walks contain some rough terrain. These are walks in open countryside, so you will be more comfortable if you wear strong shoes or walking boots. The weather can change so bring a waterproof, and it can be cooler on the tops, so wear warm clothing.
  • We regret that dogs are NOT permitted on any of the walks, with the exception of guide and hearing dogs.
