This audio trail tells the story of the Piethorne Valley and will help you explore this important landscape. The Reservoir Trails project aims to develop new resources to help people explore and understand the reservoir landscape around Rochdale and Oldham. The project focuses on why and how the reservoirs were built, the impact it had on the landscape and information about present day water catchment and management.
