Outdoor Learning Twitter chat summary document

On 20th June 2012 The Watershed Landscape Project (@Tweetingtwite) hosted a live online Twitter chat about outdoor learning. Over 140 organisations or individuals took part and shared interesting and innovative examples of outdoor learning, free learning resources and research related to outdoor learning using the hashtag #outdoorlearning. We have brought all these examples and ideas together in this pdf for participants and anyone interested to download for free.

This audio trail tells the story of the Piethorne Valley and will help you explore this important landscape. Simply download audio file here onto your home computer and then upload it onto your MP3 player or mobile phone. You can also download and print out a map to help guide you. The Reservoir Trails project aims to develop new resources to help people explore and understand the reservoir landscape around Rochdale and Oldham. The project focuses on why and how the reservoirs were built, the impact it had on the landscape and information about present day water catchment and management.
