Opportunity to investigate the heritage of the Castleshaw Valley using a new trail developed for a smartphone/i-pod.
Meet at Brun Clough Reservoir car park, 10:30am (booking essential)
Length: Approximately 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles).
Time: Approximately one hour walk.
Difficulty: Easy to medium. Gentle up and downhill slopes with rough ground underfoot on moorland.
The trail was developed for a smartphone/i-pod. You don’t need to have the trail downloaded to a smartphone/i-pod device as it will be demonstrated by the walk leader However, if you do have your own device then you can download the trail from here (Castleshaw Trails: Route 3).
